Yep I have been asking questions in regards to automatic transmission seeing as I can only work on it when the guy is here. And been trying to get all the info I can.

It wouldn't be a fouled plug would it? I understand that my mpg will suffer but I wasn't expecting this much.

I got 140miles to one tank of gas last week. Yes I idled alittle more then normal... but driving was rather slow. Only got on it if I remember 3-5 times. 10ish mpg seems off especially under very very light driving. I may have to check these plugs sometime. I have 24k on the odometer now.

But yeah Ill, the guy I am tuning aswell is getting the Misfire code but only when he is bounching of the revlimiter because of the tune. So I have a feeling that when we get the tune working the misfire will not come back.

it shud b fixed..it happened to me as well...the tune i just re sent him shud fix it..at time if the car is at idle at too long and ur stft(or lftf) i forgttin rite now..if it goes to a certain % it will trigger that code...shud b taken care of

You might want to disable the dynamic airflow while tuning the MAF and use a customer pid logging the LTFT's and STFT's and getting the average bettween both the use a paste special by half a %. This will get the fuel trims close then when you have finshed tuning the MAF re-enable the Dynamic Airflow settings. This works wounders on the cars I have been tuning latley.

he was running a different tune...the tune that i sent him to run..shud do the fix..WOOT!

It did.... the new tune was great by illmatic3s. wtg sean.

I drove 160 miles yesterday roundtrip on interstate 80 and got an amazing 35mpg @ 69mph cruise!!! I do the trip about 2-3 times a month. Its way up from 25 what i was getting stock.

cell phone pic. the DIC was within .2mpg accuracy after i filled up.

illmatics, your in new york eh... im thinking about getting a tune done so that I can get better imporvment but most importantly getting better MPG, how much do you think it would cost, and if you don't do that kinda thing, what would it usually cost?

All I have right now is a CAI from rebel, not looking to add too much more other then the gmpp exhaust as soon as the money comes, but im getting garbage MPG ratings, im at like 14l/100km and it's not being driven at WOT all the time, only here and there. Also, the performance is lacking, its an auto and it's just being shitty, my girlfriend lives in New York and I was going to be coming down in the area with the balt in a little while, only reason im asking

just pm me...we got it down now..woot. he is soon gonna get some vids. yes the auto trans needs to be woken up and it def make the car wake up a lot as im sure steve will agree...but overall i really like how his car is running..we are gonna get another log proly end of the week and see how the car adjusted to it so we can adjust more...

Well i think red was talkin bout my car unless hes tunin another auto with the same problems lol its such a PIA this damn auto lol...weird thing that it would do is as iam omw home from tuning (bout 50 to 60 miles) it will run great then start to hit the rev limiter again an not shift under WOT...lol damn my car!?! lol
