i have an 08 Sport (obvious from what forum it's in)
does any one know anyone in California that can tune me? prices? i know every one says trifecta, but i like to keep business local, it's good for the economy

I ran into the same problem but not so much because there were no tuners around, more because of that stupid ECM
Either way as far as I know its either trifecta or LS2 Edit for any 08's. No matter what though, you might be screwed on the location thing.
Man I also like the look of you're suncoast hood!! Looks really good and a tight fit too!!

everyone i've talked to says jet sucks. i bought the JET MAF sensor, and didn't notice anything, a waste of $100. plus, i'd rather stay away from canned tuned. that way the tune can be more specific to the upgrades i have

You might want to trade your Cobalt in then -- because if you believe you'll get a "personalized" tune I have some swamp land for sale. Another reason I'm glad I got rid of my Balt -- the people on this website...
Your "everyone" you talked to has NO experience with Jet. The modules made my ex-Cobalt quicker.

Notice my auto equipped SS/NA is right in the middle of the other LE5 Cobalts -- that is with a Stage 2 module...my time with the stage 1 module was 10.319. If the "Tunes" were so much better then the Jet modules shouldn't my car have been slower than all of them?
The Jet Module is a viable alternative to buying a tune. They've been around for more than 20 years providing "tuning" with PROMS, and now modules.
I'm not against others who tune...but there are far too many posters that immediately bash the Jet modules when they don't really know anything about them.
the real difference is with the < 4K RPM power enrichment lag on the 2.4...the Jet modules get rid of it. It is not "earth" shattering -- and the funny thing is you get used to it-- it's when you take it out after a while of driving with it in that you really notice the difference.
