Thanks Sean...Tazmanian is trying to call my car the base model.

Ok Taz, even if it is the same situation you describe, did you really need to say that my personal taste in my car requires me to put a bullet in my head? Are you that insecure with your non-cyber life to say these things to a complete stranger?

but both require a Mullet to own though.

If you're that insecure with yourself that you need to make your car something it's not then yes you need to take a long walk on a very short pier...

That may be the case but it's still the same thing CC08 Jr. is trying to do...

Putting SS badges on a sport is like putting SS badges on a 09 LT.. ITS fake, its rice. Do not ask us, we are anti-rice here. Look at CC08. EPIC!

No it wouldn't because it's an lt, it's got a 2.2 and a completely different body kit. I have the same engine, look the same, it's the same, or similar enough to justify my decision. Don't call me a ricer.

Ricer...you know if you admit it that it's the first step to correcting the problem...

Taz, think what you want to think. I have a lot of friends with nice cars who see no problem in this. I have an uncle in GM who helped designed our cars, and if he doesn't see a problem, than that pretty much turns anything you say into an epic fail.

I'm done. I hope the moderators don't hold it against me. I love this site and it was just unexpected hostility. I defended myself, now I'm done.

its not even that the cavi was that bad it had a good body the nicer stock wheels the hood was butched up and primed for a scoop tho and it had the typical (insert CAI brand here) rear window sticker that EVERY highschool kid in my town has so it seems it was kept nice till this kid bought it

Seriously if you need to pur "SS" badges all over your car to make yourself feel complete then you need to shoot yourself...
Chill please.

about a year or so ago, i saw a maxima ss!

i just always felt like it was ricey, and pretty lame to put badges on your car that didn't come on the car, regardless of how similar it is to something else. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth. I hated having the ss badges, every ricer under the sun wanted to race me at every light/stop sign and damn was that annoying.

I saw a Monte Carlo GT several years back. It got away before I could snap a picture though.

As to the badging. The SS/NA and Sport are different. The Sport is "technically" a more advanced car with slightly higher power. But the SS/NA comes with a cooler badge

Do whatever you will with your car, just quit trying to justify that they're the same car to make yourself feel better.

i took mine off fairly soon after having the car. literally, i took the badges off, got rid of the hi rise, and ricers never gave a second look. i was on vacation, saw some total ricer with a 17 second honda that was rusted and falling apart walk by and say "yea, that thing runs 16's. i'll edge him out"

especially now with my winter steelies, it surprises people that much more once they hear the whine.

I got the highrise wing for my 2.4... regret it. Attracting alot of people who want to race. Once i get my car lowered, im planning on finding a shaved trunk lid.
