Look at the best times in the stock SS/SC and then look at the best times for the SS/NA (minus the 14.9 second one because there's obviously something hinky with that one) and we're talkin about a second 1/2. That's probably a few car lengths...

I've notice you sure do get worked when someone has something "bad" to say about the 2.4. Not that it's bad just the truth.

Me? I was just saying that the driver counts a whole heck of a lot in a race and I've been told by S/C owners that they've had 2.4's keep close to them, I've never raced one so I have no clue and I didn't say that the 2.4 could keep up with equal drivers.

i defend the car i own, the pathetic part is, is that its to other cobalt owners. I belong to quite a few car forums and this one is one of the worst i been apart of. We dont even need trolls with civics here because people are too busy bashing their own cars its pathetic.

I dont care how fast the ss/sc is, i had the option to buy one and i didnt, didnt want one, i can easily build up my own for cheaper.

Actually, the Iroc had black inserts on the hood as opposed to fake body color scoops, the ground effects package is different, the 91 had the cheese grater spoiler, changed from mass air to speed density, went from camaro script on the front facia to a red bowtie, the taillights changed, and more. But if someone put IROC-Z stickers on it, whatever, because then I would know that he is an italian retard out crusing.

since IROC was associated with Nascar, didn't they sell it to dodge for the daytonas? if that's the case, and gm had a solid performer with the iroc-z and lost the name, should they have dropped the platform and lose the camaro customer base? No, instead they made it better, closer to what an Iroc could have been. Did some guys put iroc-z on their 91s? sure, but they put the name iroc on a better car, go figure.

IROC is the international race of champions, and they licenced the name to chevy as long as they used the camaro in their races. In 1991, the contract was reworked to use daytonas, so dodge got the licence to use the name

I dont understand these threads...We all drive Cobalts theres no need to bash different models...Yes stock speaking a TC is fast then an SC and an SC is faster than a 2.4 and a 2.4 is faster than a LS/LT BUT we all drive Cobalts!! Honestly on other forums do STi guys talk down on WRX guys all the time??

Be happy with what you have and if your not then get rid of it enough said...If the OP wants to put badges on his car (though imo it would look better debadged) big deal go ahead...Do whatever you want with your car because there is always gonna be someone here to b!tch about it....

Theres so much ****!n hate on this site its stupid...

By that logic, then it applys the same to a 07 2.4 ss VS a 08 2.4 sport. Technically the sport would be the "better" car by a few minor things. But that's all I'm saying. I'm keeping my mouth shut in this topic.... lol

No one is hating... never did anyone say they hated 2.4's in this thread. Numbers were simply provided to prove than under the majority of circumstances the SC is notably faster than the 2.4; not to brag, but because people were saying the 2.4 hangs with the SC. I fail to see how that is "hating". I love all Cobalts, hell I don't even have one yet but will soon. I personally wouldn't rebadge my car but like you say you can do what you want to your own car.

My 07 SS w/ecm and tcm tune, C.A. header, Sunroof switch trim removed for lightening, and Gmpp Intake. Its pretty quick for a four banger i can keep up with an acura TL now, I couldent before.

Im also shure im the cause of alot of My car beat a super/turbocharged cobalt rumors because of that snazzy White SS on the trunk
