Ok, just wondering. And like fbaero said, what other mods? Like internal mods?

Should, I've had some awesome launches in my car and stomped some faster cars, then again some bad one's and my car just takes a **** and makes me look bad.

Gah, first and best was 16.09@88.10mph. Mind you the elevation here is 2200ft, so I'm guessing that would make some difference.

plus, you have the canada mod, in florida, even at sea level, you can basically plan on adding a half second to your times.

i dunno, it's hard to say. if it's just a 2.2 with an intake and exhaust kit, yeah, i don't think it would be close to a 2.4. my 2.4 can get down when she's in a good mood, lol.

I've beaten my friends 2.4 on many ocations.

Just because my car has "only" and intake and exhaust doesn't mean thats the only thing thats making power. you forgot the piggy back ecu I have as well as the fact that I'm ligher than you by at least 100lbs.

Yeah I walk all over 2.4s

Theres one of the reasons it's slow.

Body kits add weight and massive drag.

i'm not saying that you're not faster than i am. my point is, every car is alittle different. for example, i've left SC's looking at my round tail lights, but that doesn't mean that i "walk all over SC's"

yeah ive pulled on my friends stock 05 ss/sc..am i saying i can beat them all..hell no..can i beat my good friend paul turbo 2.0 pushin over 400whp..im sayin a 2.4 cobalt shud def beat a 2.2 cavi...the 2.2 ecotec in the cobalt is a better motor than the cav..i can tell u stock vs stock.. 2.4 will beat a 2.2....i used to own a 2.2 until some dude hit me at 70mph in a 30(long story)..it will be a close race..but modded vs modded..2.4 will win if they can drive.

My last attempt at the strip was 15.9 at 89 mph.

That was before the 2.4 intake and header and dp though.

I dunno where I'm at now but I will say that on a dry day if I leave it in first (auto) and stop on it when I'm around 4500rpm I am at the limit of traction for my tires, they will start to break loose.

Yes I lost VS a 2.2 ecotec. I'm stock and he's stock. He was manual and and i'm auto. we start from 20 km/h and went to 100 km/h. I know that he was a little bit in front of me in the end of his second gear. My car is very slow when I floor at 20km/h. He have a BIGGGG lag. That sucks!

I've searched on www.dragtimes.com and all Auto coby 2.4 are in the low 16 or high 15 and I thing stock cavalier 2001 2.2 are doing 15.9.
