2.4 Breaking Point
Just wondering where anyone with a boosted 2.4 blew something? If youre a boosted 2.4 please chime in with how much boost you're pushing, how long you've been driving it boosted, how much you drive it, and whether or not anything has broken...

Glen229 blew his motor with only 10 PSI. IIRC the rods failed due to an unknown fact that some LE5 motors built in late 07 and early 08 didn't come with forged rods.

my car is boosted.. i did use it as my dd.. then my belt snapped/ tensioner broke (not a problem for a turbo car) and just about that time I got a second car so that is now my dd.. so i can build up my ion but i dd'ed it for 6 months or so and beat the **** out of it. i dd'ed it for a month again but now i'm doing some more work to it ..

There is no real limits. It's all in the tune and the quality of the parts you use. I'm sure if someone was daring you could push this motor to 500 whp with no real issues. People don't realize there's also a lot of maintenance and parts inspecting that needs to be done so you can see an issue before it happens.
