The only thing i would do to the LE5, if anything, would be to replace the pistons with either custom Diamond Racing or Wiseco at around 9:1 compression ratio. The internals from there can handle the power easily, but running high boost on high compression isnt easy. So to make it easier, just run lower CR pistons.

Rods: Carillo, Eagle, Oliver, MGP, Arrow, Compstar, Impo performance, Swanson Precision.

Pistons: Arias , BRC, Diamond, Mahle, Accralite, JE, Wiseco, Ross, Venolia(might not do full custom), Omega

That enough to start with?

I'd give you part numbers for my wiseco pistons and eagle rods, but i need permission to do so... someone else's hard work went into R&D, sorry..

ok heres the emails i received back...

wiseco:
We don't offer anything for that application. We would have to custom make that part. Cost for a custom would be approximately $160 each (includes rings, pin, retaining clips and skirt coating) and it currently takes 4-5 weeks. All information related to your application is required. Attached is our custom order form.

je:
We can custom make these for you. The price is about $165 each with pins, locks, and rings, and it will take about 4 weeks to produce.

not bad i guess

ok i emailed the rod companies and ill have to see what they say

Yeah bespoke pistons are no where near as expensive as people would lead you to believe, they are actually very reasonable considering you get exactly what you want, the only problem is you get exactly what you want. So if you mess up on the measurements...your screwed Measure twice, pay once.

Found some rods at an excellent price!

well i was talking to russel at arrow precision and he told me that 4 forged rods would cost roughly 240GBP which calculates to about 500 USD. Personally i think thats a damn good price. He also told me that if we were to order more the price would go down more

Whom did you e-mail over here at Diamond? I appologize that you didn't receive a response. If you would like to e-mail me, I would be more than happy to put something together for you.

as this thread says you're more then likely going to have to go custom .. unless you get the 8.8:1 pistons that they sell for the le5 solstice and sky..

a correctly build motor should be able to use stock compression and a good amount of boost.. however 8.8:1 gives you a large saftey net.. that being said you lose a chunk of low end power and if you have a large turbo with alot of lag you'll notice it
