2.4 injector upgrade
It's been roughly a year since ive been on here and I cant remember exactly what the set up was. The stock SS/SC injectors with the 2.2 cavalier harness....(might be wrong) Well im looking to do that, and any information on the part number for the harness or some stock SS/SC injectors with low milage on them for sale would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you can buy my 2.4 direct drop in injectors from hahn. they are 30# i think and im changing mine to 60# so let me know if you want them. u wouldnt have to buy a new harness with these ones.

You need a tune to run the 2.0 injectors BUT if you get tuned properly you do not, I repeat DO NOT need 2.0 injectors! The stock 2.4 ones are PLENTY till you get boosted. The GM tune is set pig rich, so a proper tune and the stock ones are plenty big enough. If I were you I'd call Tune Time and they can explain to you in great detail why this is NOT NEEDED no matter what you do. Untill you boost it that is, beyond that its a waste.

You won't gain power just from different injectors unless the stock ones are at 100% load all the time. All you'll be doing is wasting gas on a rich mixture. If you're modified significantly (ie: boosted, different cams, cylinder head, etc.), then different injectors can be a good idea.

Ok, here's my injector info again, lol:
The original L61 and LSJ engines use delphi/multec style injectors.
The LE5 and 07+ L61 use EV6/ UScar injectors.
Aftermarket harnesses are for EV1/Minitimer Injectors.
I have EV6 harnesses and injectors as well as and
delphi/multec harnesses and injectors that will work with the LE5 2.4L ecotec if you're interested.

AFAIK, the injectors for the L61 didn't change until they revised the L61 for the 2007 Model Year. I don't actually have any first hand references for this, as I don't have a L61 except for a spare head and leaking block from an even older model vehicle (Alero).
