2.4 Pontiac G6

i want to start modding the car with some performance mods now. jus wondering you guys can enlighten me on possible mods. i have an auto 2.4L. i have read a few threads here and there, saw some links, saw some products. lets start the discussion in the area of the exhaust, preferably the header and downpipe. i saw a few headers here for sale. but what downpipe can i use?

Since you have an auto you can really only get the zzp auto downpipe. Its made just for the transmition. For a header I would recommend the badmab header. But if your car is a g6 I don't know about that.

the mid-length header? i actually want a mid-length set but that seems a bit much for me right now. i was looking thru the Parts section here and saw noorjariris thread has shortys. but sorta undecided.

Hey Ghost. Sent you the downpipe link. As I said, it really comes down to if you want to spend the cash.

Hey Adam! Same old here. Sadly no car time recently. I still need to redo the high speed run, among other things.

I'll log it in HPT, and upload a pic. I think I'm going to wait for the new TB to go in. That will happen whenever time allows.

me, im getting money in the bank, doing an LEJ hybrid, and then getting a ZZP turbo kit along with many other things such as the ZZP cams.

Right now im at stage 1: save money, a lot of money.

would there be a difference and would it matter if the exhaust piping was changed from 2.25" to 2.5"?

I shouldn't matter too much. You will most likely have to run a 2.5' downpipe, then you can neck down or leave it.
