well after looking at this vid. my 2.4 blows that thing out of the water. and isnt that a 2.2 cuz of the different gauges. i mean i had a 2.2 and i did like 0-60 in like 7.5 seconds..if i remember. and my 2.4 i cudnt tell u wut that is..but with a intake and a tune i ran 2.3 on my 60' so yeah..hmmm 2.2 or 2.4 is the real question? haha

That top speed of 118mph is a typo I believe. Did anyone notice they qouted a 0-120mph time?

Well, I wouldn't go as far to say that a single misreported entry would invalidate an entire test.

Because the other numbers for the SS of 0-60 mph@7.1 sec and the ź-mile of 15.7 sec @91 seem right on the mark.

That would make the SS at least 1 sec. slower in 0-60 and 1/4 mile ET than my SC, and at least 6-7 mph slower in the 1/4 mile.

Which seems exactly right.

95.6mph-91mph DOES NOT EQUAL ATLEAST 6-7 mph slower than your cobalt lol. So if your talking about other peoples numbers. DO NOT state MY SC The whole thing is that you said atleast. when it wasnt even the amount quoted. haha and don't put down other peoples car. It makes your self look arogant even when we have the same car just a different trim.

Have you heard about the 2.4 hahn kit. 13.7 with an auto tranny....

Because I CLEARLY stated in my sig that the 14.87@95.6mph that I ran was done when I only had 500 miles on the car (I wasn't even making the full 12 1/2 lbs/ of boost yet ... around 10-11lbs.).

Sorry if I made myself look arrogant, as that was not my intention. And I'm sure the rest of us here will also forgive you as well, for acting like a total meat head.

I'm just saying if they supposedly got their 0-120 time and say the car only goes to 118 then doesn't it make you wonder about the other stuff too?

 

if it is manual it prolly can hit the 120. or down hill

 

Not to mention in the original posters video he didnt hit 60mph/100kph until mid 3rd gear and my LS hits 60mph at teh top of second gear right before the shift to third.

 

my ss hits i think 65 in 2nd gear. like max. usually shift at like 58-60 mph

 

Interesting.. Mine redlines at 50mph in second, like engine cuts out. maybe the cambodian...errr Canadian cars are geared differently?????

yeah, i can reach 60 (mph) in 2nd.

 

30-35 in first 60-65 in second and i've never done a full pull through third straight through... but when going from second . third third tops at about 90-92 or so

 

n/m tried last night. 2nd goes to around 65.

Car seems to be pulling alot harder recently.
