Manuals are so much more rewarding once learned to be driven at 10/10ths.

If it is a car it HAS to be a manual for me, driving stick is not hard at all...i say get the LSJ

nothing wrong with manual..but for a 2.4 auto is better for boosting b/c the clutch in the 2.4 sucks and upgrading it is 1000 bucks untop of the cost.

stick with ur 2.4 man, i had the decision to switch to a LSJ and take a hit on my car but i didnt and im really glad i didnt. id rather spend 2gs in my car, make it supercharged and have a faster car then a stock lsj and be different..just my 2 cents

How is his Cobalt running a 14.5 with those mods?

After driving both, the SS/SC is just like the SS/NA only the SS/SC is faster...that is it...i mean in reality the gears are longer, but you have about 50 more whp...

i agree the ss/sc is faster..consider my sister owns one and i drive it daily i can agree..but a stock ss/sc runs roughly 14.7 and traps roughly 101 MPH.

i ran a 15.46 and traped 86 stock..with my SRI i traped 95..with the header/dp combo, bigger injectors and tune ill be in the 14's...

+ ALOT of people on the road who own a ss/sc dont know how to drive their car..i wouldnt doubt with his mods he could find a few ss/sc's that he would rape..

Um, I wouldn't say rape.

Eek out yes but rape wouldn't be what I say.

And to the OP the SS/SC isn't the godsend of cars...they aren't that much faster than us, wait a little bit for the LE5 to get more support because people with regular solstices will want to have an aftermarket...

lol its true..ss/sc suffer from terrible wheel hop (considering they havnt modded it out to the **** in traction mods) the supercharger createts to much low end horsepower, sure i know tons of us on css.net know how to drive their ss/sc but i KNOW for a fact tons of ss/sc's on the road cant drive...

jimmy ur kind of maxed out on mods without going to forced induction, u could go to cams but..wont add much..id focus on some traction mods and i promise u with a driver mod u have a 14's car...or nos that baby

i agree rape was the wrong word to use..

that brings up another point..wit hthe LNF coming out im sure the aftermarket for the LSJ will slow down, also the LE5 is still being used...so the aftermarket can just increase..

VVT controllers, cams/complete LE5 only head jobs, different final drive gears, higher compression pistons, etc.

The only thing that makes me wary about F/I on our cars is its high compression.
