Well I honestly think GM would never boost the 2.4. Why? Well what would they do with the 2.0's they have lying around? I doubt GM will start a GO-KART race team to use the left over 2.0's

But seriously if GM did boost the 2.4 why would anyone buy a boosted 2.0? It'd be a waste of a very good engine.
