it went from the ion killing him when he wasn't tuned to being pretty close when he was.. the 2.4 had a better low end but the cammed 2.2 ( huck) had a better top end

i broke my tranny on first day of this year.

then your tunes suck *****..,
my buddy's GUTTED l61 cav with comp stage 1 cams from a roll is slightly slower than my 2.4 with only bolt ons and a tune.. he beats me from a dig because his car is significantly lighter than mine.

yeah I was gonna say that didnt sound right, a 2.2 cammed car shouldnt be able to beat a 2.4L with a tune

you realize he's taken out like 200 lbs from his car.. and has about 180 whp or so that makes PERFECT sense .. his tunes aren't crap.. it makes perfect sense.. a bolt on / tune 2.4 should be hitting 180-190 whp.. a bolt on + WR + cams 2.2 should make 170-180 the fact that it's lighter gives it the advantage.. he picked up 2-3 mph which is SIGNIFICANT in the 1/4 theres NOTHING about this that doesn't make sense..
if you think that it doesn't compute.. please step away from your car and never mod it again

a gutted cav will be significantly less weight then a cobalt still .. since they start lighter

my only defait against a ecotec N/A using 2.4 intake and 2.4 Tbody, obx header, Dpipe hiflow cat, LSJ catback. i ve to say he has a highrise and i m wingless. i believe in drag coefficient.
