Im not sure but I thought I also heard that TTR said it could fit but it was in another thread and not sure... just go 2.8 and get the cooling mods(option b and stg 3 H/E) and bolt ons and u should be above 250.dont stay stock... m62 that gets lame haha

All kidding aside, the TTR manifold is intended for a turbo setup most likely or Naturally Aspirated. When used on a lsj engine, it would replace the m62 and and the stock lsj manifold.

Wait, what? The LSJ guys don't have to machine the snout until they get down to a 2.6 usually. Depends on the brand of pulley, but the 3.1 is HUGE.

is this with the zzp 5 rib pulley? I have an m62 sitting here with a 2.8 6 rib and theres still slight clearance

I see it being really hard to make 300 whp with a 2.4 auto sc. I remember beck put down around 250 whp and he had full boltons and 3.0 pulley i believe. I have almost all bolt on's as well with a 2.9 pulley, and i'm probably a little under 250 whp. That's with a ported blower, semi ported intake manifold, and ported tb. The only real upgrades I'm missing our dual pass and cat back. It would take a lot to get anywhere near 300whp imo

Ive heard the ported blower doesnt help much. And the catback could help some. As well as going 2.6-2.7 with a dual pass and e85 could help out as well.. Though i think it would only be around 275-280whp max. Though theres still zzp cams and either an LSJ tb or LS4 tb. But since it hasnt been pushed its hard to say.

Without e-85 or methanol your going to be having a hell of a time getting anywhere near 300whp with your stock compression. Let alone make any good power to begin with...

as said if you're not willing to put down the dough to cool the charge down your quest is hopeless

you have 2 choices be happen with 250WHP or less. with no cooling mods.. or 250-280 with cooling mods

I have a lsj tb, initially I was going with the ls4 tb. However doing the install there were major fitment issues trying to get the ls4 tb to fit in the little space between the intake and blower. I really wish it could of fit, but had to end up trading it for a lsj tb with one of the local lsj guys.

Ah good to know! I was going to go that route! What did it have interference with?

Why not just sell the car and buy a supercharged car? All that money for 250 hp. Not worth it in my opinion.

Because of the hit non ss models can sometimes take in resale value. Also the sc kit or collection of parts can be cheap. Not to mention lower insurance rates.

2.8" + 75 wet shot, aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket intercooler pump, aftermarket intake manifold and a built transmission to handle the power on a regular basis. You're talking $7.5-$10k in modifications when it's all said and done.
