Do all of the LE5 exchange with one and other from year to year and car to car? ex. 2008 Cobalt and 2007 G6?

And not everything. The newer 2.4s have a different throttle body. It's 6 pin instead of 8pin

Pretty conservative, 3.1" pulley, dual pass...blah blah... I'm pretty sure something broke in the blower or intake because the rotors and valve have a pretty gnarly story imprinted in them.

I plan on tearing it apart tomorrow, any idea what the stock sleeve can handle? I read around 400 but I'm pretty sure that's for the smaller bores...

07 should be able to take a bit more since its a Gen2 block i believe.

Yeah but my 08 should have been a gen 2 block also, correct me if I'm wrong but i think all 2.4's were gen 2. I'm pretty sure the 06-07 used a different ECM, my newer ECM and harness should play nicely with a 07 correct?

^

lol yeah a lot more

Sucks man, crazy that happened on a blower. Did anything actually go in the cylinder? The piston looks good. Was the valvetrain still intact? If it was then you just got unlucky with a shitty sleeve or a **** ton of knock. LOL leaning towards knock.

Wait what does that valve look like?

Ill try and grabs pics of the valves tomorrow night, bought an engine tho 60 miles from me with 1130 miles for 600$ with a 6 mo warranty. I am going to check my h/e pump to see if it is running, wonder if it didn't take a **** and I saw some rapetastic iat's.

Depends on how your tuned but my tune is setup to kill timing if over 130* and steps it down the higher the IAT.

Ive had my IAT all the way up to 210* and im still going strong.

Clamp it in a vise and realign it with a mallet.
