anyone expirement with the ACDelco "rapidfire" plugs? Back on the j-body.org i talked with nelson from RSM Racing (now "Z-Spec") and his suggestion for boosted application was the Delco Rapidfire. I forget if it was #3 #4 #5 or #8, but one of those he swore by. Had a buddy do a garrett t3/04e on a 2.4 Quad motor, and another do the RSM Racing stage 3 vortech blower on his 2.4 quad motor, both used those rapidfire plugs and bought them by the case (just because fine tuning fuel issues too rich or too lean, you will foul out MANY spark plugs... regardless of what brand you use...)
anywho, yeah... what do you all think?

I was going to stop at Autozone today and pick some up. After seeing that comment, I'm glad for now I didn't make it. Otherwise they would be in the car right now. And if there is problems with them, I would prefer to hold off till we hear more.

I completely understand your guys reason for waiting although there are already over 5+ ppl on here who have installed these and have had nothing but great things to say about them
ive had mine in for almost a month now and they still run as good as day 1 iam trul impressed.
and at any rate i find it hard to believe that there is a recall at all because if there was
WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THE INFO on it !!!!!!! I havent even seen 1 sentence from a reliable source dictating that these plugs are no good
so moral to the story the only thing that speaks louder then words is actions .....
Me and tons others on here can vouch for these plugs there spectacular ....\now stop drowning your hearts desire and pop these ******* in ......: )

Ok, guys... you know I had to get a set and see for myself.
I definately noticed an increase in low-end torque off idle and up to about 1/3 throttle.
This improves the car's "driveability" for lack of a better word.
Since this is how people drive most of the time, there should be an increase in fuel mileage.
I did not notice any increase in smoothness (my car runs super smooth after my header install anyway). Also, I don't feel any increase in power topside, but what do you expect for $30?
Overall, I agree, it's money well spent.
BTW, there is no recall. That is total BS.

Yea, yea, I quoted myself. I went to the third auto parts store and they didn't have the platinum 4's either. This guy said the Plat 4's were being relaced by the Fusion plugs. He didn't know why. The Fusion's were 10 bucks each. I'll wait and see what's going on.

Ok, so which is better to go with? The +2 or the +4's? I don't want my **** to melt. lol. Also, one of you said you run 91, will this "un-mod" work better with the higher octane gas? I always run 93. Lastly, I've only ever done this once before, on my 138,000 mile 93 Accord when I had it. How often do these need changed? Not very, right? Do aftermarket ones need changed sooner? Thanks!
