2.4ss problems

2.4ss problems
i currently just installed the 2.0 ss/sc injectors in my car with a old cavi harness for it to be plug and play. while driving my traction control light comes on and off...but now after chilling with some friend at a local meet i had the traction light control light come on with a CEL..any idea's guys. im gonna get it read tomorrow to find out wut the code is..but before i do..any ideas?

interesting i was just going to ask if you tuned your car after you put in injectors i would hope. anywhos i didnt know we had traction control. hmm never noticed. well i can tell you i have them too and i had a cel pop up the code was a po420 which is an O2 sensor at the collector on the header i think it was detecting more flow through exhaust, and it was also running a hare rich. i got all of that fixed now so and i have turned off my sensor so its ok. but other than that i dont know what the deal is.

did you tune it urself or did you "buy" an already made tune from someone who did this to their 2.4??
you just might need to alter the tuning a tad. no 2.4 is made the same, so what tune works for so and so, might need to be altered a lil to fit how your engine is.

yeah me and wickedss2005 or (tom) we just turned off that sensor on the header its detecting more flow and it was running a tad rich so we just fixed everything. im running about 12.5 AFR across the board and a tad higher from 4k to 6900.

yeah i had a tune on the car without the injectors once we put them and change some other things..ive had this problem..im not sure if its a lean or rich code...but my a:F is around 12.5

my car does this all the time, and when the t/c light is on the car shifts real hard and fast my friends say thats alright sense its putting lease stress on the tranny during shifting, kinda like shift kit. Also I took it into the dealership and they said its totally fine and I don't have to worry about it.

thats what I said. and I don't know why he's complaining about this stuff. he hasn't had half the problems any of us pioneers on the ss/sc had.
You want stock reliability... stay stock. You have the patience to deal with certain issues... then mod away. But sean please stop these posts of your pissed and such. don't even let me get into it.

Saaaaame problem I had with mine! Mine turned out to be the MAF tables were out of wack and we had too damn many problems trying to install a new program, then his lap top crashed and my car got towed to the dealer to get put back stock.
Sorry you had problems man but its what made me give up on tuning mine too.
I'll just wait till HAHN comes out with their kit.

it's modding man. only car I've ever seen go smoothly is mine for some reason. It will take more abuse, timing, fuel, meth and whatever else I throw at it compared to others. Never gone into limp mode, only codes are from running race gas and killin o2 sensors. I just don't know. My car is a freak. also dyno'd 241whp and 216 wtq stock with just the airbox mod.

totally understandable. i mean yeah it sucks that our car is strange. well yeah maybe some have pioneered the ss/sc but has anyone really touched the 2.4..nope. so its kinda scary to be a first one doing something on this car. i mean yeah im running lean from wut the scanner said at autozone...im driving it like a grandma..but i mean i guess we have to figure out the tuning on it. but hey wut can u do...
