see this is what i wanted to do. i already have a magnaflow muff and res on stock piping. i wanted to get the exhaust tubing http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...EXHAUST/Detail from them to replace the stock. so you guys would not recommend that?

Here's my build, from the header back. Mind that I live in Kansas, which is currently free of emissions testing:

>Custom Header (Inlet/ Outlet: 1.625" X 0.875" (Oval)/ 3.250") - Part: $110 - Labor: $0, done myself
>Resonator Delete (Replaced with 2.5" piping) - Labor: $20 for 30 minutes
>Catalytic Converter Delete (Replaced with 2.5" piping) - Labor: $40 for 15 minutes and an illegal act [:
>Cut Axle-Back piping, (Replaced with 2.5" piping) - Part/Piping: $25 - Labor: $40 for an hour
>Magnaflow Muffler with stock SS tip - Part: $116 - Labor - $20 for 30 minutes

Total cost for my custom header-back exhaust: $255

I have a guy thats about a 20 minute drive from my house at Big O Tire that welds for pretty reasonably cheap.

I liked my slp catback with the factory manifold and downpipe. But with the zzp shorty and the cti 3" to 2.5" catted downpipe its ungodly loud and even just letting off the throttle on the highway for 10-15 seconds while in drive results in small pops

But when the car is turned off and sitting in a parking lot the system does look fairly stock

the slp is 2.5" stainless steel and 400 bux shipped.
