They are already rare.

Now will they ever carry value... NO

That day for cars to gain value was over a long time ago. All cars are pieces of ****. Regardless of the quality and drop in value the second you open the door. A car is the worst investment as far as ROI goes you could ever make.

W3rd, at best you can buy a car that is "not as bad of a bad investment".

They will tune and start offering aftermarket for the 2.4l because it's also in the HHR, and is going to be GM's new high output 4 cylinder.

I would like to say that it disappoints me that GM is pulling out of the tuner market so quickly though, unless they start offering a turboed 2.4l Cobalt Sport in 08', now that would rock *****.

yea, the only time a car can be considered an investment is if it's a rare classic that will go up in value... and i doubt people on here would be doing something like that, because if you had that kind of money you probably wouldn't be driving a cobalt. on that note, the cobalt will never be anything close to a rare classic.

Yeah, but Factory tuned for performance, and a slew of aftermarket parts from Chevy. Not just an intake and exhaust.

Data is wrong. 2007 is the last year, not 2008.
Forum is wrong. Why is this in the 2.4 performance section?
Information is old. There are many threads on this already. Closed.
