4.7L truck TB on 2.4 balt

A few of my 2.0L buddies at OCC.com have now switched over to a bigger throttle body from a 4.7L truck, to go with their R.A.W CAI. The gains have been amazing. I asked if they could do the same thing to my 2.4 but apparently the adapter plate on all 2.4 balts are different from the 2.0L in which they have one screw on the top left corner that is indented and lower then the rest. I wanted to know if any 2.4's or any companies for that matter have addressed this and/or done something about it. Obviously there would need to be a quick change in the tune after your done so you don't go into limp mode but other then that it's a fairly easy and cheap install with decent gains. Basically, what im asking, is if ANY 2.4L balt owners have switched throttle bodies for a bigger one, and if so, where did you get a new adapter plate/or what did you do to make it work? Are there also any supporting vendors out there that might be able to work something up?

I thought rebel was working on making them fit the 2.4's. But honestly something from a 4.7 is probably a lil over kill for our cars. A LSJ TB should show some nice gains though, inbetween the stock 2.4 and 4.7L's.

I don't see how it would be overkill if we have a bigger engine then the 2.0?

Because its a supercharged 2.0. It takes in a lot more air then our 2.4 does. Hince why they get the bigger throttle body from the factory.

You'd have to be tuned for higher CFM

The 2.0 is boosted so it can benifit from the larger TB. The 2.4 in N/A form could never use that much air! IMO it would be a waste of both time and money. Think of it like slapping a 1200 cfm demon carb on a stock 305, it would NEVER run right!
