About Time

For those of you that have been giving me **** (crap) about times I predict I'm running, I'm taking my car to the drag strip at Heartland Park in Topeka on Friday, 10/26, for a track day with a group of friends/fans/supporters (lol) to see if I can break 14's. I'll be sure to post pics of my slips.

Make sure to take a pic of your car with the number on it so it matches the slip. Are you an auto or manual? If your a manual and a REALLY good driver you could do it

He could easily have 215 bhp, that would be about 183whp which is completely possible.

Horsepower depends on dyno anyway. Despite what power he makes getting in the 14's is entirely possible with a nearly stock 2.4

I have yet to see it. There must be something wrong with my car then.

Well we will see when he posts slips.

LS6Rally ran a 14.9 with an intake. Your also an auto. And I never said he'll do it, I don't think he will lol. I'm just saying any 2.4 with a good driver and small mods should be able to do it.

It's auto. And I'll feel pretty accomplished if I break 14's.

I mean my mod list is in my sig obviously, the only thing I didn't throw in there is that I took out my seats and interior paneling. There will be plenty of videos, I have a bunch of friends that have helped me work on my car, so they're just as excited. Plus I promised ride-alongs, because a guy that works for HPT (Heartland Park Topeka) told me as long as I don't break 13's I can do so.

I'll be launching in "L" and my tires have at least 75% tread.'

If it does any good I recently lost to my friend's '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP S/C full bolt-on's by less than 2-3 feet at 110 mph.

Anyway, we'll see.. I'm excited, first time at the track, let's see how low I can get my reaction time, and I'll be sure to link vids and post pics!

Also throw in the CEL code for my faulty thermostat. I'll do my first two runs with the Cooling Fan fuse pulled so the fan doesn't stay on. Should be my best run.

I don't see you hitting 14s. I'm not even in the 14s and I have more mods than you. Right now I should be around 14.9
