I figured that... Anyway I found this video, and I'm going to go ahead and assume the Cobalt is a manual. It's an '08 Cobalt S (N/A) with only a K&N intake, running 15.18. zeroto60times.com says It's supposed to run a 15.5 Quarter: Chevrolet 0-60 Times & Chevrolet Quarter Mile Times | Chevy Chevelle SS, Corvette ZO6 0-60, Cobalt, New Camaro 0-60, Blazer and Chevy Monte Carlo 0 to 60 stats!

That's the same motor I have in my car, from 2008. At least that's what the paperwork says.

Probably pissed him off so bad he won't be posting unless it's a sub 15 second pass.

Hell I would hook up a bottle and run 14s and lie out my ass just to be right.

Lol if anything I'll run it Friday, and I'm getting NoS sometime around Christmas. I already have my switch set up. (The switch itself adds more HP than the NoS). It's the Fast and Furious Racing style with the flip up guard [:

Yes he is. That car sounds like it will run 15.3

Instead of nitrous go for boost.

im predicting 15.3 as well. i know a guy with a manual 2.4 with intake and exhaust i beleive that ran 15.2

coincidentaly he ran a GMS1 balt with intake, exhaust, dp and charge pipes to a 13.5 so he's got launching down pat.

Lets see. I put my left foot on the break. Right foot on the gas and revved as high as it would go which is 2k rpms and then on 3rd yellow light I release the brake. I don't just floor the car. I ease the petal to the floor. Because I've just plain floored once and I spun a little. My reaction time is pretty dam good. Best is .003 60ft of 2.4. Which is bad and 1/8 10 flat. My trap speed in the 1/4 is about 90.

But since then I added header/downpipe and 93 gas. Plus my new tune is pretty aggressive. Do you think I can break a 14.9 now?
Mods currently are k&n Sri intake, badmab header, zzp 2.5 catted highflow dp,lsj tb,pacesetter catback(muffler has holes. Before I go I'm replacing it with a magnaflow muffler) and hp tuned with 93 gas.

You need trans settings modified. Stall speed is 2600 RPMs so thats what you should be getting up to.

Lower air pressure to 26 psi.

Spin the tires to clean/heat them. Leave off stall speed. You shouldnt spin much. I didnt spin at all with my S/C set up when i did my 13.88.

Theres still torque management in the tune. You should have none at all.

If its 2600 then thats good. Stock on mine was 1800 after tune it was stall speed at 2600

Burnout just drop to "L" and ebrake then spin. Dont do it too much...its just street tires.
