Hey Everyone,
I'm new to building cars and I'm about to get thrown in headfirst here shortly (I have a Cobalt SS 2.4L and the wife wants to have her 67 Mustang Restored and Modified.) I already have a Laundry list of parts and accesories that I want in my balt but i need advice about what else i need if I want to run these parts.

Hahn Racecraft Turbo Kit
Cobalt CF SS Hood
BAER Big Brake Kit (front
BAER Big Brake Kit (rear)
B+g Cobalt Coil-Over Suspension System by Gravana
Eibach 3899.320 Sway Bar Set FR
Recaro Speed Reclining 4-point Race seat x2
O.Z. Canova Rims
Yokohama Parada Spec-2 tires
R33 Cobalt Front Bumper
R33 Cobalt Rear Bumper
TechnoD Side Skirts
Chevy Cobalt L3 Fenders
Stage 3 Clutch Kit
TWM Short Throw Shifter

I know i need to strengthen the engine a bit but, i dont know where to start. Someone please help!

2.5 -3 inch exhaust corsa would be my choice, boost gauges, a/f ratio gauge, oil pressure gauge, and some pretty sticky tires not to mention youll need some kind of tq dampener or mounts to get the power down with minimal wheelhop. also dyno time for tuning.

Take a step back and think about what your goals are for the car and if your willing to spend the money to achieve those goals. You got about 12.5k in parts in that list and thats not including installs, paint, etc. Once you decide where you wanna go with the car then you can start make a list for parts and go from there.

My biggest goal is to make the car as fast as physically possible, and to look nice as well. money isnt too big of an issue because; A) I will be coming off of a year deployment in Iraq, and B) I'm planning on taking my time (2 years or so.) so really I just want a drag car that will turn heads because it looks good. thanks for the advice so far I would like to get more if possible.

Wow, that's one hell of a "laundry list". Turbo kit, full body kit, racing seats, coilovers, big brake kits......man, that's gonna be like a $10,000-$15,000 build easily. Good luck!

you dont need a header with a turbo kit, it comes with a turbo manifold

If you are going to spend all that money you should also look at the Hahn Exhaust. Or any other performance exhaust and possibly a high flow cat.
