Aftermarket Engine Cover

Does anyone know if a vendor or anyone sells some type of engine or fuse cover for us 2.4s? I hate the look of our stock engine plastic, but the engine doesn't look that good without it either. Plus I want something powder coated in black to match the black injen CAI. Nothing huge like the engine plastic, but something to cover the top. Maybe even saw 2.4 VVT real nice or something.

I'm trying to get a nice black theme going under the hood to match the black car.

I know what he's sayin. Me, i think the 2.2 and 2.0 valve covers look better on the eco's. But I would like that type of deal to myabe hide some NOS wires running to the intake. Dude, check out the Solstice. That 2.4 has a nice cover......

Polish your valve cover. That does wonders, you can do yourself, or have it done for about $150. Then get some billet caps. Oil cap, Coolant cap, Washer fluid cap. Then things will all start to look in sync.

I painted the engine cover a perfect orange match as well as both fuse box covers and the top of the grill in the engine bay. I also painted my AEM polished intake and dc strut orange to match as well. Paid about 100.00 for the paint and did everything myself. Factory match color. Looks awesome. I'll get pics soon as I can find the adapter for my cameras memory card.

Contact Jared at ShowMe Street Customs and he can hook you up with some cool stuff. Most of the stuff he has is for the 2.0, but he's working on the 2.4 as well.http://www.showmestreetcustoms.com
