Airflow

Looking to improve it!

So I know headers get some good gain's(hp) but is it pointless if I'm keeping the stock DP to keep my noise low and then get a magnaflow 2.5in cat back?? Then for my intake ZZP 3in Intake and the LSJ TB withe LE5 adapter... good idea??

ZZP does not make a 3 inch intake for the 2.4. If you are talking about their high flow air tube then sure. But I would suggest a k&n or true cai. If you want low noise and better performance do a header/dp combo and keep the stock catback because it will barely be a restriction at the amount of air your flowing. This has been said before and the search button would have helped you alot here, just saying.

The filter being outside of the direct engine bay, ie in the fender or near direct airflow. ZZP has probably the best combo for exhaust on the market, go with their longtube combo for the biggest gains.

just do intake/header/DP/Catback and you'll have LOTS more airflow right there, and if oyu can afford it, Port+polished heads are amazing

Having a stock ls coupe, I did a couple mods that really made a difference and there pretty cheap. K&N intake, full catback, High flow cat, dp, headers, 2.4 intake manifold, 2.4 throttle body, jet performance chip, and a tune and boy did that make a difference!

Thats why you keep the stock cat back...the downpipe is more restrictive than the catback...A dp with the stock catback is quieter and should net you better gains.

Better flow: get all your exaust componets... 2.5 inch no 3 inch.... Downpipe carted or catless, and a catback.. then get a intake.. don't worry so much on the t.b..... It'll help a wee bit... And also tune!

I would get the DP catted then K&N cai and yeah once i figured out the measurements for the 2.4 to an LSJ TB the difference was like 1. something mm

I've been hearing people complain about trifecta lately.. dont know why though, but most people around here prefer HP tuners, I happen to have both in my local area, just dont feel like dishing out $300 for a tune on an n/a car haha!
