Learn to drive stick!?

all GM Compacts with autos have done this for years, there is no need to be revving you engine anyways, its one of the worst things you can do.

Get it tuned. I have mine set to wind out to 5k.

If you stab it hard enough it will go to about 5700 or so and then settle to 5k.

used to be back when it wasn't drive by wire.

OP im not trying to judge but it is dumb, and it as stated before is not good for the motor, revving without a load is a bad idea, hence why GM limits it, there is no need for it, esp in an auto. hell maybe they didit to keep the nuetral bombs from blowing the trans, but if you really want to get rid of it, then you need to pay to have it "tuned" out

^ pressure has nothing to do with volume, hell put the cam bearings on a different way on an identical build and you will have differetn oil pressure.

Read this and look at the oil pump chart as well.
