The HAHN kit is supposed to be really good. Complete as well.. It's what I'd do it I went turbo. That or a pieced together kit to save a tiny bit of cash..
And also, it's turbo'd, not turbo-ed. That just sounds gay. lol

Thank you, I thought it was original. I am a fan of cobalts, especially since this is a *gasp* Enthusiast Forum for Cobalts. What is your screen name supposed to mean, while we are talking about homos.

Honestly, if you're gonna make such big deal over it, go out and buy me an SS.

I think the better question is, "can the cobalt's automatic transmission handle boost?"
I'd be more worried about that myself. I know the Grand Prix transmissions could only handle so much...I would expect the same of the Cobalt...

You're an idiot. I bought my 2.4 for 12k and it cost less than 1700 dollars total to go fi. For a grand total of $13,700. Yes it's auto, but at the same time it is far less than a 24k price tag for a new ss

I have the hahn kit and im auto. Been boostin since 2007. tranny failed on me at 11 psi this past spring and I have had it rebuilt with lsd and cryo treatment. If zzp would have been out when i bought this kit i probably would have went for them. They make some good stuff.

Okay. You got me there. Well.......I think I'm off the the store. Gotta pick up some groceries and run some errands. Can I borrow your car?

No he's right the auto transmission has been proven(I know its spelled wrong lol) to handle over 300 HP and TQ. The real question is longevity, how long will it last.
