I was looking for a picture of a red SS 2.4 with a supercharged wing which is one like im hoping to get. I have looked in the VB garage and i cant find one but which im on 56k.

Black 2.4 with SC wing. You know GM would've made my life a HELL of a lot easier if they just made the same body kit for the 2.4 as they did the 2.0.

 

is yours a 2.4 with the SC lip or supercharged??

 

Looks like 2.4 with lip to me, I dont see the supercharged badge under the SS on the door and the GM badge is where it is on the 2.4.

 

haha the SC lip or supercharged lol. thats the same thing. but anways it has the supercharged lip. look in my gallery the 2.4 doesnt have a lip. period.. he has the full supercharged kit. front lip and rear bumper.. you were looking for a 2.4 with the wing? right.. there are a few on this site you just have to dig. most people will by the sc kit and the wing, not just the wing.

but yea if you spend that much money in trying to look like the SC you should have just bought it outright

 

You are completely right about that and I wish I could've done that from the beginning but insurance got me and kicked my ass so I couldn't. But trust me, if I got the SS/SC from the start, I would've got the intake, catback, GM stage 2, dyno tune and call it a day. Period. But no, I have to spend $2500 to go AS fast if not slightly slower than the STOCK SS/SC and look like it, without the baller interior and clutch and tranny.....**** YOU INSURANCE@!!!

Honestly I dont know jack about RX anything except for the lack of torque it has and it weighs more than the Cobalt. I also had a 200 pound passenger when I raced her. She's my close friend so we have raced several times.

yo celicacobalts car is a 2.4 with the 2.0 front bumper and back bumper..lookin hot man. hows the turbo?

 

Its also automatic, she put it in drive and floored it pretty much. Didn't use tip.

 

lol it was already said. and he has the 2.0(supercharged) front lip. the bumper its self is the same. it just has a lip on it, and they have a different back bumper

thats why Rx8 have less power in the autos than they do in the manuals , also an auto in drive is SSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW

i had a gtp with a shift kit and a minor tranny tune and that thing was sweet , until the transmission was shot after about 65,000 miles maybe it was 70,000

 

what happend there?

 

traded it in for the cobalt ss/sc , then i traded the ss/sc in for a gto , the tranny wasnt exactly shot you could still drive it but it was going fast , it would start rolling back on hills in drive

 

ah not good. yeah so far my tune is kickin ass in this thing. cant wait to dyno it

 

lol nice good find. but like i said i cant keep up with my buddys rx8- manual lol he hits 150 easy!. plus its rottary engine.

 

Just so you know, its a 6 speed auto and it cost her a little over 30k
