must not be installed correctly.... I wired mine in and there's a noticeable difference between off, stage 1 and stage 2........ and also, in the videos you're referring to, they had the traction control off

Put it in "L" so that the traction Control is off (little yellow light on dash shows up). Let the tranny shift on its' own into second with the selector in "L", then shift into "I" after you are in second. If you have it in "I" or "D" the traction control reduces power if it detects wheel spin.

dude i have had mine for a few months now, and i love it, i chirp my tires alot, get crazy looks from people, but its cool. hint the best way to find out it to drive on new pavement , it works good on there.and i alway shift mine from I to L at about 5500 to 6000 rpms. try it and let me know how it works

I have a 2.4SS with stock tires and rims. It chirps from 1st to 2nd everytime in stage 2. Either your cobalt is broken or they didn't install it correctly.
All you do is put it in L, floor it, and listen, make sure you shift up to I before you near redline in 2nd.

Harder tires will spin easier than softer tires so the fact that you can spin your tires easier than with the stock Pirelli's doesn't surprise me...

Nice thanks a lot guys it chirps the tires everytimes NO MORE LAG!! I just owned an Acura Tsx
But I don't know if it chirps the tires or the transmission grind... it's not a big Squeek when it shifts but no more lag...?

My tires only chirped when they were bald. I got a new set of tires and no more chirping. ID rather not have any chirp at all. Means you loose traction which in turn reduces accelleration. Constant traction is what i want.
No One "welds" wires together. They can be soldered, which would be the proper way to connect the wires. I hear the wire taps are good too. I found the perfect place for the module. Its on the driver side to the left of the radio under neathe the steering wheel. there is a place that the module can be jammed in to which holds it well and hides the switch nicely. Id take pictures but im too lazy to do it at the moment.
