back from dyno day at RSTECH
Decided to go over to dyno day today at RSTECH, local tuning place that was having an event, 80 bucks for 3 runs, wanted to get a baseline on the turd slobalt lol Kinda was anticipating between 150-155hp but given the fact that I havent had much time to dial in the tune this week, numbers wound up being a little lower. Last run was 147hp @ 4750 rpms and 175ft lbs @ 4350, high torque we saw was 185 @ 3750. Mind you though, its hard to get that thing to not want to downshift violently on the dyno being auto, and there is no exact 1:1 ratio gear on the 4t45e either.
only took video of the first run because then we started getting into more detailed conversation about what was going on, car wound up doing like 6 runs back to back lol
my buddy also took in his 2005 saab 9-3 aero vector and put down some insane numbers for being bone stock.
In the process now of reviewing the datalogs of all the pulls, checking for KR and seeing how the o2 mv's look throughout the runs, randy was kind enough to datalog the whole process for me with my hptuners. Not bad results IMO for having limited time tuning and only an intake and zzp mid length header with a cat.

Im down to 21* of timing WOT, would have though it would have been able to do the stock high octane ignition table just fine, which was about 23* of timing.

Nice pulls.
Just as an FYI, what gear you do your dyno pulls in doesn't matter, and it does not have to be a 1:1 gear...that is an old myth.
The dyno works off wheel speed, it makes no difference what gear you dyno in....so long as you can get the motor under 100% load.

Had to pull the starter off today to get to the CPS and oil pressure sending unit, got some sort of moderate oil leak coming from what appears to be the front of the motor, directly under the under filter. I followed a wet trail from there down to the trans bolts all the way to the center of the motor. Replaced both the CPS and oil pressure sending unit today, wasnt sure if the CPS was cracked like this before or after I removed it. oil pressure sender seemed to hold 120psi just fine with compressed air, no leaks out the back. I was worried it might have been the rear main seal but the flywheel was dry, and i didnt see any obvious leaking inside the trans case. I dont think the rear main seal would have showed signs of leaking this far forward on the motor either given the shape of the bellhousing. Cleaned the motor off now I just gotta drive it and see if i keep developing a leak.

93 octane, dunno why im having issues running the high octane table in hpt, ive been consistently pulling timing from it. Your saying the vcm scanner allows 3rd gear lockup?

How old are plugs?
You might have false knock

For all intents and purposes the leak starts where the trans meets the block right above one of the main grounds and below the oil filter housing. I cant trace it any further then that. I cant imagine this being a rear main seal, as its wayyy to high up on the front of the block to even be close to where the rear main seal is.

Saab for all intents and purposes on what i could find, only rated the 9-3 big T 2.0 @ 220ft lbs, but I cant find anything regarding what size turbo is on the LK9 with the B207R RPO code. They specialize in honda's over there and all of the horsepower and torque numbers they were throwing down that day seemed to be within spec, with the torque being ever so slightly higher then what was expected. But not 84ft lbs difference from what they were rated lol Unless the vector model had a different tune from what the aero itself has.
and my KR kicked in at 4800rpm on that last pull, which is why i never made it past 147hp. It pulled 4 degrees of timing right off the bat and tapered down to 2* of KR around 6000-6500.
