Haha, there's a name i haven't seen in a while. Me and you were the O.G. 2.4 s/c's. Im living south of San Francisco right now. Cars running pretty good right now. want to put her on the dyno eventually. You still rolling your original 2.4 around? How many miles did you put on the kit?

Post some videos. I've thought of getting a base Cobalt and throwing my SC setup on there that I have laying around. UNLESS... someone is interested in buying it. *wink*

But seriously, videos would be nice. I have looked at your How to many times. Well done.

If by any chance you are looking for some 60's to fuel that 2.8, let me know. I have the harness and everything.

I've been running a 2.9 pulley since I put the blower on, but will be dropping down to a 2.8 soon.

what are you asking for the 60's and what style connector do they have? If i decide to go E85 i'll probably need the 60's

I have about 80k boosted miles. Still running strong. I keep killing intercooler pumps so I've given up on smaller pullies. Taught myself to tune because I couldn't trust anyone else to do it. I have much more expendable income these days than when I was in college back in 07. Pretty sure I'm going to dump the s/c, new forged insides and turbo it.

Not sure the 60s will be enough if you decide to go e85 on a 2.8.

Right now my IDC reaches about 91% with a 2.9

oh damn.

What intercooler are you running? maybe thats the problem. I'm running 2.9 on this cobalt and also on the first one i supercharged and havent had any terrible heat issues. my intake temps are in the 100-120 range depending on how hard im on it lol.

U still thinkin about having me tune ur other pcm for e85..
Ur spinning the tires on 91 right now..lol could only imagine wat ur car would do on e85.

Its amazing how much low end power these le5s make with a sc.

Beck next project F35 swap to top it all off.

That's what I was thinking, not really needed anyway. Would love to know if someone has figured out how to pin the ECM for IAT2's so I could use the MAFT and MAPT. Not a fan of having my IAT timing retard based off of IAT2 temps. They don't quite scale correctly.

Did any of you guys ever properly install and scale down a tune for 60lb injectors and a 3.00" or smaller pulley?

It's on my list to do, but I have to get my A/C working first since I live in FL and the 6 rib compressor I bought ended up being crap. Have to pull off and swap my clutch, pulley and holding coil to my original compressor.

I offered to put my 80s in becks car so he can try e85. I know he would like it and not give my 80s back lol. His car is ridiculously fast right now for the mods. Couldnt imagine his car on e85.

Beck, who is tuning your car? After the rebuild (forged rods/pistons 9:1 and new valves/springs & turbo) I want it tuned right. Need someone that knows what they're doing.
