Best Header and Downpipe Combo For 2.4L

I just installed my exhaust and I'm looking to complete my installation. I am looking for best gains and price for a header and downpipe combo for my Megan exhaust. I have a 2.4L and have done a little research. I figure this is probably my best bet to receive opinions and personal experience.

My Megan exhaust is 2.5" piping with a 4" tip. I'm not sure if I should get exact piping or move up to 3" downpipe with 2.5" exit or what my combinations should be. I'm new at this so go easy on me. Thanks!

So, let's get this done.

Anyone?

Vibrant imo seems like the best, zzp reviews says that the dp "whistles" and that they send crappy bolts. i went with the Cobalt adiction V1 and xtc downpipe, although im getting my CA header ceramic coated cuz i dont like wut happens to the paint.

I've heard that ZZP breaks often. So that's out of the question. I was looking at C/A header and downpipes. How long have you had them installed?

Is the XTC downpipe made by C/A? Is that their version of the downpipe?

Which version of the cat did you go with? A lot of people say highflow cats are raspy sounding.

If you could, please. Thanks! When it says "DownPIPE without cat converter (2.5")" that means that there's no catalytic converter at all? Isn't that illegal in most states?

Just wait till you hear my car at the meet..........im sure that'll make your mind up for you!

CA header + XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe + ARK N2 cat-back. It sounds ****** sick man....trust me!

Also, i've been cat-less since November '06.....had my car inspected and everything.....still never got in trouble for not having a cat. I think some people just need to man up, lol. (j/k guys!)

Yeah, that'll probably help make my decision. Ark and Megan are sort of similar so it should be a similar setup I'm looking to hear.

My thoughts exactly. Biggest difference between the two is the ARK is angled and the Megan isn't. Other than that, both are 2.5" w/ resonators........so im imagining they should sound mighty similar.

Definitely. Ark also has a half inch bigger tip than Megan which isn't too big of a difference either.

Dont blame ZZP for poor installation. It is the installers responsibility to be sure that the fasteners are not over/under torqued. The ZZP gives you every option that you could ever want 1.5" or 1.75" primaries, 2.5" or 3" DP, High Flow CAT or no CAT, Stainless or mild steel and Ceramic Coat.

Honestly the best you can get for a N/A 2.4 is 1.5" primaries and a 2.5" CATted DP.
