Boosted 2.4 which clutch should i get?
So right now im a 2.4 supercharged with 2.9 pulley, my clutch is getting worst so i need to get a new one..
Im probably gonna go either turbo or twincharged in a year and a half so i should take that into consideration,
Also right now its my daily driver till i go turbo
But i want something thats gonna be good to when i go more into my build..
So which one do you guys think i should go with..
Thanks

There is nothing wrong with SPEC as long as you get a "+" series...
What happens is everyone goes cheap and does not get the "+" series, and blames it on the clutch.... I have a 3+ on mine at around 340 HP/torque, and not a bit of issues, 30,000+ miles. Many other locals also.
We do not recommend the non "+" spec clutch kits, they dont hold...

No, No spec clutch. Their entire design philosophy is rubbish. Lets make an un-sprung clutch, ok, lets take our normal sprung clutch and just put steel spacers where the springs go. Yeah great plan, make it super likely to fail and not give the benefits of an un-sprung clutch. Or how they mount their springs. Rather than putting actual bosses for the springs to sit on they make it real obvious that their clutch centers are only stamped out of steel as their spring seats are just a bent piece of the sheet metal the clutch center is made of.

I got the Exedy Stage 2 when the stock started to give up. It has never slipped on me(233wtq) and its supposed to be good to 280wtq, but it engages harshly and the pedal pressure is very hard which makes it pretty annoying for dd IMO. I am putting in another one this winter when I drop the sub frame again. The ultimate kit looks to be the ZZP clutch. If I decide against the lighter flywheel though, I will get the spec stage 3+.

lnf/lsj clutches do not work in the le5. We have a completely different flywheel. That would be pretty cool tho, but I have still not seen an overall, undisputed "good" clutch for the le5. Like the gmpp for lsj's

exedy stg 2 cost me 340 shipped from a vendor off of here. zzp = 600+...........
the exedy is also good to around 350 whp. they advertise less but when you speak to them they tell you theres like a 30% buffer i think it was.. that it would cover higher than the advertised amount.

yea what tyrone said exedy all the way. i used it when i had 260 whp and now that i'm on a tvs it still holds up great. for clutch engagement you should get zzp adjustable clutch rod. it will not be so hard to use anymore. the engagement is really easy after you change the clutch rod. here it is
