When I'm done:

Boost/IC: M-62 3.0, dual pass, phenolic gasket, Opt. 'B'

Fueling: LSJ TB, Bosch 60#s, 91 octane

Intake/Head/Exhaust:
Modified CAI->Euthanasia ported LE5 head w/ ZZP Cams, LNF Valves->ZZP Long Header w/Cat->GMPP Touring Exhaust

Internals: Wiseco 10:1 forged & coated slugs, ZZP Rods, ZZP Balance shaft neutrals

Drivetrain: ZZP 4t45e w/ 245mm 3000 stall TC and EP LSD, Pedders/FE5 suspension, Front Eibach sway Bar

MISC: Arp head studs, Ingalls stiffy mount, ZZP strut brace, Moog Front end, Timko front hubs

Almost there, tranny **** and sway bar left to buy and quite a bit listed yet to be installed.

Dyno in Winnipeg, 9 hours away and I'll likely make the trip this summer just to see my #s but alas no track anywhere close aside from terrace bay which has a yearly shindig at the airstrip.

I hit the track with my HHR at ~230whp and did 15.1@95 during the summer(I am a few hundred lbs heavier than the Cobalt).

I dynoed 257whp/233wtq on this setup:

Ported m62 3.1"(~9psi)
Ported LSJ TB
ZZP Cams/Springs
ZZP Phenolic spacer/Dual Pass/S3 H/E
CA Header
ZZP 3" downpipe
Magnaflow muffler
Stock flywheel/Exedy Stage 2

In the process of adding the following(engine is out):

ZZP 2.5" catback
JE 9.0 Forged pistons
ZZP Forged Rods
ZZP 2.4l Stage 2 clutch
Ported head
ARP studs
2.7" pulley
80s/e85

Looking to get ~ 350whp and 13 flat

Even with cams my power was falling off up top. Those were 2500rpm to 7200rpm pulls.

I am porting the head right now and have a 2.5" cat back on now. Really hoping those mods help bring the power way up.

main thing because i wanted a short ram intake
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-4l...lorida-265764/

the second because the kit is design for auto, manual plus rotated mounts, aftercooler sits too tight in the engine bay.

the kit is awesome, but from the beginning i wanted air/air, because also is more simple. and you could say less weight? lol

i HAD..

50 trim turbo 2.4, 5 spd, exedy clutch, 10 psi, custom charge piping.. car weighed 3680 with me in it..

put down 247hp/267wtq on a stingy local mustang dyno.. (my goat made 299 and 303 on it) a 400/400 car with full bolt ons lol

ran best of 13.9 @ 109 at the track. no traction sucks. get some drag radials on these things.. if i can find another one ill do it again with zzp parts.

i miss it

Oh sorry forgot to list dual pass. Updated. I am running ZZP dual pass, phenolic spacer and S3 heat exchanger.

I was running a 2.9"(~10psi), but after I ported the SC I went from ~8psi to 9psi with a 3.1. I figured the gain would be even more with a smaller pulley. 100% meth has a thread on that in the LSJ section and he said the same thing. Smaller pulleys take a big advantage of the port work as he gained ~3psi on a 2.6 iirc and said the gains are smaller with the big pulleys since your not moving as much air. I hope the 2.7" will give me around 14-15psi. Decided to wait on pushing it since I was planning on building anyway.

Gawd! I wish...I am tapped out right now. Just spent a lot on the build.

I also just really like the SC. I love the whine, response and I think it has a cool factor. I also just want to know how much the m62 can make on the 2.4l. I haven't seen any over 300whp. Hopefully there will be a few supercharged 2.4ls rolling around @ 300+whp soon.

I should be in the 325-350 range I'm hoping. I have my TVS now, just buying the rest of the things I need and it'll be time to put it in. I can't wait, it's killing me.
