there already are 200 hp 2,4, and thats with intake, exaust and tune, what you should be asking is what 2.4's are 200WHP

dont know yet but they sure scared me on 4th gear acceleration a few times, but if I had to Butt dyno I would say 22-26WHP from the cams

our cars tend to be 160-165 to the wheels so I'm hoping for 205-215whp, I'll definetly have it with the balance shafts in Feburary

Iam sure your a lil upwards of 215whp because I have a feeling with full bolt ons alone were putting down 200whp iam just waiting for someone to come in here and prove it lmao

i dunno that's a pretty hefty claim from just bolt ons. not saying it isn't possible because we don't really know yet, but that's a 40+ whp gain from bolt ons....

there are a few dynos floating arounf in the 2.4 section, very different numbers though, maybe conditions etc etc..., but 215WHP is a big gain I think 205whp is more realistic, I dont like whp numbers, all the manufactures use sae standards, so the next time I'm up against some si I can say my hp ratings not whp ratings, cause most of them only understand flywheel numbers

theres a few 2.4l folks on here that have seen 20+ whp gains alone from Inake and exhaust

header + downpipe = 15 whp maybe hopefully

you wont get 40whp from boltons, your exaust is 10hp catback maybe 5hp your dp is 10hp and header 10hp, so thats 35 maybe 40hp. Now add your tune for 20 hp and thats what you get, cant give you these numberts in WHP cause I dont know their ratings in WHP

True but I think theres more beast in your cams then you think....

I have a couple of si buddies who have done cam swaps and seen some pretty insane gains

anyone know a half decent formula to figure hp to whp would be real useful lol

you guys are probably right but I still think your underating what the boltons will do

N/A lives off of good flow

those numbers sound reasonable but you guys need to factor in that one mod making 10hp alone isn't going to add that number on top of what the other mods make alone. I am not trying to deny it's possible because i dont come on the 2.4 section too often and there already may be 200whp 2.4's but again, realistically, 40whp from bolt ons is a little much. i could be wrong tho

ok no catback gives 10 hp, unless on a turbo application

i have yet to see a 2.4 put down 160+ stock on a dyno, around 145-152 is about average

cams aren't considered bolt ons

I''m not hating, just tryin to clarify

anyway I not trying to be a dreamer i just think its more then possible with full bolt ons
