I have been having trouble with my car starting. It is finally **** the bed on me. few weeks ago it did this to me after starting fine all day then later that night it did this. Starts after fighting with it for a few min then runs normal. Its been sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks now went to start it today and wont start this is what its doing.

what have you done as far as diagnosis? remember the basics: fuel, air, spark. I would first pull each coil pack to ensure spark, and use the schrader valve to make sure there's fuel pressure.

I just pulled the starter on it. I'm going to go get a starter and see if thats what it is. If not then go from there. Once the car does start it runs fine and will start right back up.

I thought it was my fuel pump to but my dad don't think it is because my starter has been making a nasty sound for a long time he thinks its finally had it. When I turn the key I can here the fuel bump fire up

They dealer said the replaced the starter but when I picked the car up that day it made the same sound. I pulled the starter and there is all this black dust all over it and in where the flywheel is. Ill post pics when I got home. Fly wheel looked good so that was good.

haha i was just talking to my friend saying how much i hate the merrit. you would take I84 To 384 to RT44 i live off rt 44. The car is not fixed its sitting on jackstands right now in my garage. I'm not sure when ill get time to work on it again. I'm leaving Friday for vacation. I would def be down for someone coming back helping me with it. I dont want to keep throwing parts at it and dont feel like towing it to a garage if is something i can figure out with the help of some people.
