I could ******* shift better with my feet. You're extremely overestimating the power in the SI in 1/4 mile terms. They are high 14 second low 15 cars stock AT BEST, which will definately lose to the SS/SC. There are STOCK 2.4ls on this site running near or right at that in a 5 speed. Factor in the mods and you have yourself a race.
Considering he's an auto... I'll give it to the civic, especially rolling or if he can drive (obviously), but it could still be close. You make it seem like the SI is in it's own league.
And your comment on the 2.4l with I/E and tires beating a stock SC seeming absurb is laughable. It's been proven. Hell even I'VE done it. So is your comparison to us and a scion TC. LOL. WHAT?

no need to explain..im sorry this thread turned into a flame fest...with egos clashing....the sites a lot more helpful than this usually...bottom line is..you wont get your answer on this forum...you'll get it if you decide to race your buddy..its all infun...its not like your racing for pinks...just make sure you dont wreck your ride or miss a shift and screw something up...if you lose....big whoop...more time for mods...thats what i did....let these guys settle their dispute...ill keep spanking SIs in my area....and

Statistically mid 14's in all reality, but no. Your shift did nothing. His shift however, from 1st to second, or lack thereof, turned a mid-low 14 second car into something that can get beat by a stock SI sedan. I couldn't hear but I imagine the shifts down the track were just as terrible.
What were the final times on the board?

dude you are not understanding our points, slower cars can beat faster cars all the time. a drag race isn't about time, its who finishes first. I could run 25s all night and beat 7 second cars. your time doesn't matter. The driver in the SC miss shifted or just doesn't drive all that well, you did that run. congrats you finished before he did. now go try and find a life that isn't "e-thug'n"
