Chaos Six SC Build!

Well here we go. I bought a 2.4L SS a few months ago. Should have just bought an LSJ/LNF car but where's the fun in that?!

So far I've got the LSJ intake manifold and the M62. Took the blower apart, cleaned it up. Today I just put it back together with the old hardware, painted it black and replaced the hardware with stainless hex head. Still need to torque them down to spec. LSJ intake manifold from a local junkyard. Can't believe I found it there. I had an LS rear bumper from a friend and it just sat around. It was perfect condition, the junkyard swapped it even. Bumper for intake manifold WITH the motor mount for FREE? Yes please. Made my own dual pass, I test fitted it and has no clearance issues. May not be the best looking thing, but it works!

Any input would be awesome. I'll be posting more as I get more done.

ZZP Stage 3 intercooler
LSJ M62 Spacer Plate with vacuum ports for meth injection
Intercooler Pump
Option B system
DVC-30 Meth Kit from OTTP
ZZP modular pulley system with either a 2.7 or 2.8 pulley, haven't decided. Seems like the 2.8 is more common.
Siemens 60# injectors
LSJ throttle body adapter harness
Bad Mab header and ZZP 2.5" exhaust

And once it's all installed a tune by Innovative Tuning in Buffalo, NY. (I hope, still have to call!)

And of course gauges. Getting a wideband and boost gauge, just not sure what brands yet.

Thanks man. Considering I've never done anything of this sort before. I have done a lot of lurking and reading around here. Beck's SC how to was pretty good, gave me a rough idea of what I need. I really want to get 290HP. I don't know how realistic that goal is with the parts list I have now. And probably would help if someone local sold E85. Any recommendations to hit my HP goal?

With meth you might get your goal. If you can do meth and E85 that would be the best.

I'm getting my LE5 SC'd next weekend I just want to get that out of the way. Then I'll work towards more power with a smaller pulley and bigger injectors + a good HP tune.

Where are you located near buffalo. I'm in Clarence.

What junkyard? Need to find some front brakes before I spend too much and just buy Brembos from CED.

Don't see you hitting 290, maybe 240-265 realistically.

Solid swap list though.

There are 4 E85 stations in Buffalo, I daily my car on it and it's worked fine for me.

Here's a great site you can search your area code, I found 8 in the "buffalo" area ----> http://alternative-fuel.findthedata....hanol-(E85)/NY

KY clutches are great, I'm on the stage 3 now and love it.

Honestly 290whp is going to be hard to hit. My buddy has a sc 2.4 HHR with a 2.7 E85, zzp cams, and a built motor and was putting down around 280whp. Don't set your goals too high to start, just aim for a fun car with crazy low end torque. trust me once you get it running good numbers don't mean anything lol

Thank you! Still, 240-265 is better than how it sits now. 240-265 are better numbers than how it sits now! I don't plan on shelling out much more money to hit 290+. I'd be better off getting a turbo. I was going to TC this car but I found the M62 and got the intake manifold for next to nothing. Well, the intake manifold WAS free! :P And I only paid 250 for the blower, the seller didn't even realize the LSJ TB was still on it. So I scored one of them too. Now if I can get these kind of deals on the rest of my parts, I'd be one happy camper! haha

The closest one I can find is in Fort Drum. The site says there is only one planned in East Syracuse. I'm gonna bring my car to you for a tune on a trailer along with a 55 gallon drum and fill that thing with E85! :P

I would pass on the blower spacer it puts the blower close to the core support

Probably just stick with meth and 93 pump gas then. And I'm pretty sure my luck with finding them kind of deals will run out soon haha

Update! I just got out of work. Had just enough time to put her away for a while and start the supercharger build. Here she is! Won't see the road until late spring 2014

Always the most easy and fun step, taking everything apart. It's when you start grabbing parts that "bolt on" is when you get mad as hell.

Yeah I'm waiting for the still. Today I just bought injectors, intake manifold gasket, supercharger gasket, supercharger oil, stage 1 clutch, and the LSJ throttle body harness. Next week is intercooler and pump. week after is wideband and intake.
