Chicky's "Girl-Powered" 2.4 S/C'd Adventures
Hey guys, thought it was about time I make one of these threads as I am steadily/finally getting started on the unbolting process and already feel slightly anxious. lol
The "Beast" as I'm calling her for now, is a 2008 Black 2.4 Coupe 5 spd currently sitting on jackstands IMpatiently awaiting her newfound power.
Parts attained for this build thus far:
M62 blower
LSJ Intake Mani
Brand new gaskets for both^
LSJ Throttle Body
Bosch/LSJ Intercooler pump w/ pigtail (coming this week some time)
LSJ Radiator
42# injectors (coming Tuesday)
Idler pulley (not sure which one, need some clarification on this)
3 diff size pulleys (unsure of sizes, will have to measure and confirm)
Coolant reservoir tank
NGK Laser Iridium platinum spark plugs
Injen LSJ intake
LSJ dipstick
LSJ oil pan (for bonus +1 quart size)(thanks Mongo!)
Assrtd. hoses
Parts still needed for completion + tune:
_____<-- This is the blank I need YOUR GUYS' help to fill in. I've been reading all over this forum for weeks just to be sure I'm not forgetting anything but it's nerve racking feeling sooo unsure. I'm open to suggestions as far as getting this done. I'll be hard at work for the next 'however long' til my baby is back on the road again.

Intercooler pump mounting bracket
lower intake manifold bracket
LSJ 2.5 Bar MAP sensor (optional but reccomended)
Heat Exchanger
Wideband (optional but STRONGLY recommended)
stock LSJ belt ( cut one rib off)
Upper raidator hose
LSJ belt tensioner and bracket
LSJ windshield washer tank
Hardware (bolts etc.)
I see you have an LSJ radiator on your list. You will also need the LSJ rad fan assembly, because yours wont fit with the LSJ rad.
look at Becks Build for lots of reference material and supplies and tools you will need.

Yes it is^
And yepp I used Becks guide to help me out when I first went sc also lol. Didn't know a thing about working on cars but it all went together pretty good after several broken bolts haha.
Whats the different with swapping the lsj oil pan and also the radiator?

I have the rubber piece you mentioned to go with the IC bracket. Good to know about the IC pump being usable, I guess I'll be retracting my purchase on eBay and saving myself $100 :-)
I read somewhere in Beck's thread a discussion about how having the additional cooling benefits of the LSJ pan with an S/C in the 2.4's being a bonus. Extra precaution I guess when I thought to purchase this.
Injector harness? So I got the harness but no injectors. How do I know which size injectors they will fit. I already have #42's coming on Tuesday with harness included. Hopefully I don't end up with 2.

Beck informed me that I'll be needing an intercooler. With the h/e, radiator, AND intercooler, doesn't it get a bit crowded up there in the front? I'm officially overwhelmed lol

Also, the LSJ rad fan has two fans, where the 2.4 has one. You will have to source plugs and wire the fans so they each get power.

An intercooler is the same as a heat exchanger.
Easiest option: front mount heat exchanger.
Harder option: Stock LSJ heat exchanger.
Hardest option: both - that's what I have.
Space isn't a problem, as long as nothing is bent. All the LSJ stuff bolts right up.
