My personal opinion is that you probably only need the one heat exchanger but if you do Install the both of them I'd start by taking your stock fan assembly out of there then slipping the heat exchanger and finding all of the bolt holes and then bolt it on and doing the same for the fan assembly then figure out the wiring.

The wiring is where I'm going to need help for sure. I'm going from one fan to two so I'm sure there's some complicated way of making that work. I'm sure there's someone on here who has done it before and hopefully I'll find a how-to somewheres.

Oh trust me when I say that I do extensive research on ANYthing I do to my car before I even attempt it. I'm a woman and a perfectionist. Things are done right the first time or not at all.

you will be fine with the le5 rad setup
while you should be able to wire the fans in series, the main issue I see and would need to look into is that the rad fan in the le5(prolly other balts) is pulse width modulated...whether or not that would make a difference...
With just an OTTP HE, flow thru resevoir, dual pass, phenolic spacer; I see cruise IAT (post blower) of 20* above ambient( temperature on DIC) temps never changed between the 2.8 m62, 3.1 tvs, or 2.6 tvs
If you had the $, I would recommend the griffin HE and be done with it

just use to OTTP HE and skip the stock he, LSJ rad and fans, all that is a waste of money, The LE5 radiator and fan work really well. Stock fan system is a 2 speed, most of the time the low speed resistor rots out and leaves you with just high and that's where the problems happen. I would sell all the other crap and buy a new low speed resistor for $30 for piece of mind.

All I run is a Cobra HE, dual pass and flow-through reservoir *shurgs*
Since you already have the other parts though might as well just install them, it's not going to hurt anything

Oh it's no worry really. The rad fan is brand new and will be taken back for refund come Monday, the stock H/E is for sale in the classifieds. Someone will need it eventually I'm sure. I'm a big fan of not making things harder than they need to be.
