just get any old generic brand of filter cleaner and follow the instructions. (Autozone should have the K&N filter cleaner on hand)

The only filter that requires a special cleaner is the AEM dryflow (which is what I have) and you have to use AEM's cleaning solution.

it's a non washable filter. it's actually a paper cone filter you can get them from gm directly or crateengingedepot.com has em for like 40.00.... looks like u have to buy a new one every year or so... i'd replace it with a cleanable filter...u can get one for around 40 and the cleaning kits are usually 10.

you can get a new filter for like 20 bucks. if your running CAI that gets wet which isnt good anyway. but if its just dust and dirty air. you can just go in a garage or if you have air compressor just blow out the dust from the inside and on the outside just be careful and not blow it to hard LOL bad wording ill get flamed on that. but it might rip the paper just be carefull but just blow it with an airhose and itl be good as new .

It is? I figured it'd use a filter like that of K&N or similar brands. I guess thats just another way for GM to make some extra cash, lol.
