cobalt 2.4 stage 2 jet performance chip
Hi everyone. Hi would like to have feedback on people who bought that chip. I have searched the forum for informations but I would like more informations.
So I would like to know if you really noticed a difference in power and gas mileage. I know it won't replace a good tune, but I don't want to spend that kind of money right now.
Also, I only have a AEM CAI, would it work fine ? It's suppose to be for more modified car but I could buy one for not that much and I would like to know if it would work fine with my car.
So any help would be really appreciated. And please, no arguments on '' I should get a real tune''. Like I said, if I can have one for not much, would it worth the money or I should just stay away from it. And will it work good with only a CAI.
Thanks guys!

First...don't call it a chip. It is a module that attaches to the ECM -- if you use the word "chip" it conjures up the e-bay specialties and gets the posters all "flamed" up...
I used both the Jet Performance stage 1 and stage 2 modules on my 2.4L and the best thing they did was get rid of the low speed "lag" that the car would go through before PE. I tested both on the dragstrip before I traded in my 2.4L and found the stage 2 gave .3 seconds over the stage 1 module. The difference could be felt off the line between the two. I would recommend both modules to someone who doesn't want to get a tune simply for the convenience of being able to remove it when necessary. Neither module will transform your car into a "race" car, but the difference with the module in will make it worth the purchase. Funny thing is once you have it in and become use to it you really notice the difference more once you take it out.

Notice my 2.4L auto was # 4 on this list (Info only...a true real comparison/test would be to have all the cars at the same track at the same time) the others have tunes - not the module. My runs were in hot humid weather and on a track that has an uphill angle.
