I had a 07 G5 GT with the 2.4 and it had low compression in the 4th cylinder. Only things i had done was muffler delete and K&N drop in air filter. best time i ran was a 16.1. I'd say it was around 70 degrees out.
thank god i got an ss/sc now =)

I dont know what the auto's are like but the 5spd is deff not a cow by any means. I beat my G/f's auto Mazda 3 sport today, we had a sprint for fun.
I understand its not a sports car, but its funny how a lot of the people poking fun at it are the boosted cobalts.
Again, I cant speak for the Auto 2.4's, but I know the Standards arent as slow as people seem to be making them out to be. I mean obviously to a T/C cobalt they are, but in the general population of sport compacts there not.

with a trap of 100mph, his E.T. should be WAY quicker. near or in the high 13's what was the 60ft like? traction people traction!
on a side note.., my friends cavy with a l61 his E.T. was 14.4 at like 92!

i ran 15.3 @89 with intake, header/downpipe, and a flowmaster. i'm auto but i'm tuned. and the track was horribly prepped and was super humid. everyone had absolutely horrible times until it started to cool down.
i ran these times at the GM lonestar bash
i ran 15.8@88 like 6 time sin a row until it started cooling down outside.

No. But its true that racing a SLOW automatic with NO POWER takes no skill! lol Most drag cars are auto, its optimal for consistent racing. However, those race cars are not easy to race just because theyre automatic lol.
