will a aem dryflow fit on the k&n tyfoon i know they make several sizes will any of them work

why is yours silver? an older Gen?

 

I'm not sure to be honest.

It was purchase last summer, so its not very old or anything.

Edit: I checked the K&N webiste, and the Typhoon is still silver

well which is the K&N intake that black?

 

The Typhoon is available in a few colours, but black is by far the most common.

 

the one designed for the 2.4 comes only in black
the 2.2/2.4 comes in black and silver

 

??? what the hell is difference if both work on the 2.4?

there are some other reasons, let me find out

 

I installed my typhoon last night. Nothing but smiles today People mentioned them being loud but when I first put my foot down I was surprised. Butt dyno likes it too. Definately pulls better through the midrange. Mine came in black and went on in about an hour.
