yeah well I ran shell 93 with nitrogen 0 ethanol blah blah blah and I didnt notice any difference performance wise, better mileage though, probably due to no ethanol crap...

well after this tank I'll toss 93 in again and really see if I can notice haha!

weird i thought all gas has ethanol cause every gas station i been to said 10% ethanol unless it depends on where you live

According to the GM owners manual, the 2.2 can take 87, and the 2.4 and 2.0's are 91+.

I hate threads about what octane to stick in your tank. There are always so many inaccurate responses. Go with your owners manual and you will be fine.

I ran 87 when I got my Ion 2.4 cuz its all i ever ran in my Ranger and still all I'll put in the old Jeep. Once I found this forum, i realized how much I'm missing on by not using premium fuel. I still fill for under 30, and with it now tuned for 93, the car really woke up and can whip base Stangs. Its a good feeling paying 8k for a sedan that beats fresh off the lot sporters.

wow what have I been doing to my car? its been drinking bottom shelf fuel, and I thought it was already fast....wait till the next oil change/tire rotation/91+fuel
