Couple performance mod. questions

as long as i have been here im not sure if i remember these being covered......

1. does our manual 2.4 SS's have that traction control or no?....ive never peeled wheels enough to know...but the little bit that i have i have never felt power loss or anything liek that...

2. does the B and M short shifter for the ss supercharged work for our car....im just wondering cuz it seems like it could but not sure...anyone tried it on here?

no and no. lol

none of the MT balts have TC. the system works by closing the throttle when the ABS sensors detect spin. they don't do it on a manual for fear of stalling the car.

the shifter... well... it just doesn't fit. it prolly could be made to, but it doesn't. from what ii hear shifters for 2.2 eco cavis do fit with minimal modification

You might want to check the TWM short shifter for our 2.4s

We sort of have a traction control. The ecu pulls some timing i believe when moderate to heavy wheel spin is detected.

Our PCM pulls timing AND closes the ETC for our 5spds, this has nothing to do with ABS.

B&M shifter should not fit due to the fact that it has reverse lockout, and the 2.4L does not. However TWM makes great shifters and many perfer them over B&M. i have a twm and i think it was worth every penny
