I was going to get the Vector tune then found out that Westers (Tilley Ab Canada) is two hours from here . I have not heard of anyone running this on a 2.4 and he wants the car for the day . I should be able to post gains . Ordering the header and dp monday so once they're installed and broken in it will be done.

Hell even the my tune is for my car, this drop in temp has thrown my AFR out of whack a little. But there are alot of people that use box tunes and have good results. Just depends what you have acces to.

I don't know why you are "lol"- You have an out of the box tune....Or how you can comment on this you didn't see the Vector tune (AF/timing/knock and HP/ftlbs) on the dyno-multiple times at different days with different conditions and don't even have a 2.4?

Back on topic...the Vector and other flash tunes are for people who have no option for custom tunes. I have tuned plenty of cars Subarus/Hondas and Nissans some with box tune as a baseline until I could get to a dyno.

The Vector tune is safe and makes GREAT power for almost all the mods you could put on it save FI. Its NOT maximied but its TONS better than stock (ask anyone with the tune) and safe AF/knock and timing, and it put down +20whp over stock and got better mileage. Look at my dyno in other posts. We can debate this all day -simple fact is for people who can't find someone competant at HP Tuners, this is a GREAT option.

i dot care how you riddle it, out of the box tune=cheap. if you want to go cheap with something mechanical then go ahead. but as complex as the vehicle are now adays where everything is ran off of computers, i'd say thats a bad idea. get a tune made for your vehicle, with your conditions, with your mods. don't be cheap.i would MAYBE buy an out of the box tune to get me to a shop, but thats it.

Nope sorry. Some guys don't have shops to go to and I don't blame them for buying a good tune from a respectable company save no other option just like you did.

Considering GTP's times and mine i think Vector's tune works just fine.
