Dual Exhaust

I am going to buy 2 magnaflow mufflers and go to a local custom exhaust place to get it installed. Before I go to get the mufflers on, I am going to go to the body shop across the street to get the second cut-out of my plastic grill in the back. Here is the link to what the mufflers look like: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=790
. I don't exactly know what they will sound like, but my expectations are high. I also hope they will look pretty damn good.
Tell me what you think whether it will sound good, and whether it will look good.
Thanks alot!

It should look nice, not sure on the sound though. Get some sound clips up when you get it done for us to hear. Best of luck.

Load the file on putfile.com or streetfire.net and then just post a link to the video

I agree... why go dual on a I-4... You might lose all ur back pressure and screw ur motor up

That is pretty expensive for a muffler. But my estimate was $488.83, for 2 magnaflow mufflers, aluminum pipe, and a y-split. And that also included installation. I just have to add $60.00 for the body shop across the street to cut-out my grill in the back.

I had duels on my Cavi for the looks more then anything else. I had always had muscle cars before I got the Cavi and I was just so used to them the car didn't look right to me with only 1.

Also don't forget you can run 2 ultra quiet mufflers and they will out flow a single high flow muffler any day of the week! Basicly if your running duel 2" mufflers its equal to running a single 5" one. I know I know what kind of math is this? I'm telling you what friend of mine who owns a custom exhaust shop told me thats all. When you duel off the exhaust it flows like you added a 1/2" to each of the dueled off pipes. So your duel 2" mufflers flow like a single 5 inch one. And they are waaaay quieter then the 5 incher could ever be!

For quiet and more flow you can not beat duels.

Let us see some pics of the final product. I am interested in seeing what the plastic grill will look like cut up. I hope it won't be hacked, but smoothed and rounded and looking good.

Someone needs to make a dual aftermarket rear grill in the stock "look and feel". That would help out a lot of people who are not looking to get a body kit, but want duals (i am talking 2.4L SS)

Here is my hack job:

I think it would look cool.

(This is a photoshop [mspaint], FYI)

But, if a shop could cut the grill or if you bought an aftermarket one, this would look sweet!

That looks real good. That's exactly what I want it to look like. Except, with the magnaflow mufflers in place of the stock ones... lol
