Ok guys i finally dyno tuned my car and the numbers were 250 hp and 254 tq these numbers were of course corrected im in Colorado which is 5280ft above sea level. Well I have a question and I hope someone out there can help. our cars are said to handle 300 hp so with that said how much more can I push my car? Im I going of the corrected numbers or the other numbers cause it said I got 191hp and 195 tq. I hope you guys understand me im hell of tired but I just wanna know do I have more room as in 50hp or 110 hp to work with. Cause we are gonna put a meth kit and drop it to a 2.7 pulley so let me know what you guys think.
Oh and this was on a mustang dyno

sounds about right... you're trying to fill a 20% bigger motor with a baby blower and at huge altitude... If i had a 2.4 with a M62 i'd start with a 2.7 and probably end up with a 2.5 or something on it... you're just the victim of "big" cubes and huge altitude.. i know my SS/TC turns the boost up like 4.5lbs going from 790ft to 6300ft when i drive thru the mountains regularly...

See thats what I had in mind but I didnt know if my logic made sense haha. right now im at 7Psi with a 2.9 pulley and we are gonna experiment with the car we are gonna do 2.8 then 2.7 then just keep a close eye on it I just didnt understand.... if I had alot of room to work with.

I am in the same situation. I just dynoed my m62/2.4l and put down 257whp/233tq. I am not sure what I want to upgrade in this engine though. I am considering just pushing it to see what happens since there are numerous people that have gone well beyond 300whp. I am running a 3.1"(9psi) and am considering the same drop as you to about a 2.7". I am getting the ZZP 2.5" exhaust since I am still on the stock cat back tubing with a magnaflow muffler. I have a 2.9" pulley to throw on too. I am hoping the exhaust will relieve a bit of back pressure, lowering the boost for the pulley-down. When I get my exhaust I am heading back to the dyno. I am hoping the exhuast/pulley-down combo will yield another 30whp.

I am 5spd. These are my mods:

Why would a 2.9" and exhaust kill hp? I would think that would bring the hp up. Either the head or catback is causing a restriction for me. I am starting with the catback since it is quick. Porting the head in January.
What is LTH?

haha noo an auto would kill hp, but its good you have the f23. a 2.9 coupled with exhaust will help a good amount. Ported head will help alot though, I would say you could even drop to a 2.7

yeah the compression and extra displacement will help you there, but that tranny is definitely taking a good amount of power out. Think of getting a stall for it? that would help or any kind of build would free up some whp. but i definitely think E85 would give big gains if you have access to it. besides that if your looking for over 300 wheel i would say sell it all and go turbo.

Pretty good I logged until the laptop was low. I ended up leaning it out from .70(10.5) to .78(11.5) and added timing. I will lean it out a bit more to about .82 and add more timing. I ended up with about 18* at 7k rpms. Its making a difference that I can feel. Was having crazy idle issues and got that sorted out for the most part.
