Exhaust poll

What would you guys perfer on exhaust wise. I dont want my car to sound like a ricer with a new exhaust that I'm looking for. I have two that I have decided on. The Megan drift spec and the Gmp performance.

best way to go is to get a new header and downpipe, a lot of the restriction is there, with a high flow cat. if you want the best of the best corsa makes a beautiful cat back exhasut system but youll pay for it, zzp also has their own stainless magnaflow cat back. i think the gmpp exhasut is a waste, its still a gm product, which we already know how much they restricted our engine... i personally am goiung with a custom cat back 2.5" magnaflow from a guy who is well respected with a whisper resonator. i here the megan is a good exhasut i never did any research on it, but if its expensive id rather get the zzp or the corsa, but your still paying for the quality of the name. if your looking for the most hp gains get rid of that stock header and downpipe and work from there, i have mine hooked up to my stock cat back while i wait for my custom but it sounds nothing like a ricer. well i am throughing a lot of air into the engine the sound of more hp will sound nothing like a ricer brother

I have a custom 2.5 inch magnaflow catback and when compared to the GMPP I like mine better.

I like my CED Random Technology 2 3/4" cat-back exhaust. It's louder and deeper than my GMPP performance cat-back exhaust was.

Any exhaust sounds ricey on a fast revving 4 cyl engine its what gives it that distinct buzz that screams rice.

borla or magnaflow are prolly going to give you the deepest, non rice tone. i also heard that a flowmaster muffler will also give you a nice deep tone (im not positive on that, i always thought flowmaster would give off a rice tone)

Megan will be louder, and im sure many more people would consider it "ricey" than the GMPP. I have the ARK N2......some people love the big angled canister, and some absolutely hate it on a Cobalt. The Megan isn't angled, but its still a big ass canister.

are you serious? That SLP dual exhaust is probably the GROSSEST sounding exhaust i've ever heard. The youtube vid recently disabled comments because so many people were saying how bad it sounded...
